Cassie’s gold guide is the newest guide on the market. What sets it apart from some of the others is that is published via a web based membership and not on PDF document like you find with most gold guides. This make’s Cassie’s guide easy to navigate and just my personal take but PDFs especially big ones always tend to crash my browser no matter what system I am on so I am glad I don’t have to deal with this issue using this guide. I am happy to report the information found in Cassie’s guide was up to date and current. There were step by step guides on how to use addons, there was a section for each profession that sort of gave the pros and cons of each as well as some suggested items to craft. There were complete maps for farming the Cataclysm zones. I really liked the section on leveling it was sort of unexpected in a gold guide, but it really covered some of the more recent techniques for leveling characters the pros and cons of how each one worked. I was aware of some of these techniques, but for some of the others I was not. In any event it was the first place I had seen it written down in a concise manner.
A plus is the membership is a one time fee and you get the regular updates at no extra charge. I know some of the other guides charge you for that. I hope to have my own video up up soon with some more screen shots from this guide.
